TYLER GARDENS HISTORY

Constructed nearly a century ago in 1931, Tyler Gardens were carefully crafted with influences of French and Italian gardens for George F. Tyler and his wife, Stella Elkins Tyler. The estate features lush florals, fountains, bronze sculptures, and sprawling lawns for a dramatic but elevated view.

The lady of the house, Stella Tyler, was not only a frequent gardener of the grounds but a contributor to the view—many of the bronze statuary still on the estate today were crafted by the accomplished artist herself.

In 1987, the gardens and the estate were placed on the National Register of Historical Places, and is largely agreed to be the grandest home ever built in Bucks County, perhaps also being one of the final great estates of its kind that was constructed in the United States.

RECEPTION & CEREMONY SPACES

With several gorgeous outdoor backdrops to choose from, you have your pick of which fountain to get married in front of. The lower fountain offers a larger space on sprawling grass with a view of gorgeous twin staircases, while the upper fountain offers a living wall and a stunning view.

Tents are available for inclement weather in these spaces for ceremonies, but your reception will always have the shade and elegance of a large tent. Overall, the venue accommodates from 2-350 seated guests and 2-500 standing.

PRICING & PACKAGES

The Open Aire Affairs team specializes your package for your wedding size and desires. The rental fee covers a 5-hour event with exclusivity with the gardens and 2 additional hours prior for photography, their wedding suite, tables, mahogany chiavari chairs, additional tables for seating or accessories, as well as sparkling string lighting & chandeliers and access to their patio & fire pit. Though this venue has a garden party feel, have no fear—they also boast attached finished bathrooms and heating or fans depending on the time of year and weather.
